Note from Jane Coggins, Nutrition Manager, Community Renewal Team (CRT)
The Community Renewal Team wants to take this moment to let everyone know about our program. We provide hot lunch and cold dinners to seniors who are 60 years or older in our region and are home bound. With the economy making life difficult for many seniors and not leaving much money for groceries we encourage our seniors to take advantage of this program. The meals are a suggested donation of $2.00 and if you are unable to pay the amount, then it is whatever you can afford. We don’t want our seniors to go hungry. For more information or if you would like to join our program please call 860-347-4465 extension 231 or 228.
